Schools The Primary aim of Edstaff is to supply high quality qualified teachers to schools across Merseyside and the Manchester area. All our teachers are vetted in accordance with DfES guidelines; Edstaff are committed to in depth registration and background checking on all staff placed within the school environment.

Since the Ofsted Report 'Safeguarding our children' and the DfES letter to schools of 21/6/06 we understand the need to provide evidence that appropriate checks have been carried out. Therefore all our teachers carry an ID card and an Edstaff 'Certificate of Compliance' that details the checks carried out on the individual teacher including their CRB disclosure number and issue date.

We provide short term day to day supply and long term absence cover depending on the needs of the school. At Edstaff we believe it is imperative to visit every prospective school to gain a full understanding of the schools ethos and values, this ensures we can provide the most suitable match for your school.
